President Obama May Be An E-Cigarette Smoker
Since the FDA started seizing shipments of e-cigarettes at customs, sales of the products have skyrocketed. With the recent rash of media attention brought on by special interest groups, big tobacco lobbyists, and the FDA, e-cigarettes have become a hot commodity online and at mall kiosks around the United States.
In the House of Representatives, Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) has been seen on capitol hill demonstrating his e-cigarette to others and even going as far as to make a statement that he would soon be giving President Barack Obama a demonstration of the product at the White House and may be sharing a leisurely, carcinogen-free smoke with him.
The President has admitted that he has quit smoking several times over the past few years, but has always slipped back into the habit. E-cigarette users claim that once a person starts using an e-cigarette, they have effectively quit smoking because they are not smoking real cigarettes and due to the fact that the smoke emitted by the device is not a smoke at all, but a vapor. The vapor itself contains the nicotine that one would expect, but also contains water, propylene glycol, and aromas.
Could the e-cigarette be the answer Obama has been looking for? Many ex-smokers seem to think so. A quick search of blog posts and news article comments about e-cigarettes will find an overwhelming support from hundreds of people who have either quit, cut down, or sing praises about the new e-cigarette product.
President Obama may already be an e-cigarette smoker due to evidence in statements from others in mainstream articles and other evidence that may suggest that he has already received such products as gifts. Has he used them? Will he use them? No word yet, but the world is watching.

Thank you. I do wish to make one point however. The electronic cigarette is not marketed as a stop smoking device. While many are able to quit with it’s aid, you can quit using pez or butterscotch drops if you try. The main advantage of the e-cig is the reduction of the majority of harmful chemicals and you can also get a “fix” when regular smoking isn’t allowed. It is not recommended that you flaunt it just because it may not be against the law. You still have to ask yourself if you want children to thinking smoking anything is ok.

Ecig is a really nice invention, thanks for the creator making this gem device.

Please use the power of the pen and email the Today Show about there biased segment re the Electronic Cigarette. The email address is: today@nbc.com. Perhaps they might think twice the next time if enough of us express our displeasure.
Further, I hope that all of the distributors of Electric Cigarettes will join the suit against the FDA. The power of all of them can’t balance BigPharm but it can’t hurt. The FDA gets their funding from the likes of Senator Lautenburg. They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. I wish it were possible to bring suit against Lautenburg and the rest of the Washington Pols (Elite). However, I believe they have passed laws making it next to impossible to do so. Imagine that? The FDA is just a pawn and not the real problem. It is our Congress and the high powered Lobbyist! They need to be sent packing!

I had my first FDA-siezed shipment kept out of their stinking sticky palms thanks to a wonderful UPS agent at Customs, who called me to inform me of FDA’s wishes, but stated that if I would rather them send the shipment back to the manufacturer, they would do that, saving me the lost funds (she said not one single shipment confiscated by the FDA has ever been returned for completed delivery…they are gone!).
What can I do to get in on this suit against the FDA? Please - LET ME IN!

The FDA makes me almost want to get on my knees and cry for America. What has happened? Now when safer products come into play and threaten a murderous industry, they ban it? How dare them. Oh god it makes me so sad to see what’s happening.
I understand the devils advocate side to the FDA, with the “Enticing Children to smoke”
But you know what? They’re going to come across a cigarette once in their life and they’ll make that decision for themselves, not the FDA. That’s life, you can’t shelter your kids forever.

I really hope they don’t ban the e-cig. I have been smoke free for 3 months and its the only thing that is keeping me from smoking regular cigs. I don’t want to die when Im 50. They don’t care about are health. We give kids adderal for ADD at the age of 5. Which is going to give people serious problems when they get older. Like strokes and heart attacks.. but its FDA approved. All about MONEY!!! SO PISSED! DONT BAN!!!
